Homeschool moms come to me after they’ve tried everything.

After purchasing multiple curriculum packages. Teacher training. Taking online courses. Overplanning. Underplanning.

Across the board, they wonder if they’re doing enough. For my Waldorf homeschooling clients, they often wonder if they’re doing it right.

But every homeschool parent goes through periods of overwhelm, doubt, and confusion.

And no matter how many resources you purchase, how many courses you take, how many FB groups you’re in, or how many hours you go searching and searching for the next resource that you think is going to solve all your problems--

Nothing quite compares to the opportunity to just talk it out with a mentor.

I LOVE the Homeschool With Waldorf community (my mentorship group) and highly recommend you check it out. It includes monthly group coaching sessions, monthly masterclasses, plan alongs, and an amazing community support network...

AND, if you know you need individual support at this time in your life or at regular intervals, I would be honored to mentor and support you!

Give yourself that time to vent, plan, ask questions, and unravel the tension. It's so uplifting!

I homeschooled for almost 25 years. And believe me, I've been in that stuck and overwhelmed place myself. And I found my path when I started working with my mentor.

With one-on-one mentoring, you can:

  • Discover just the right resources for your family

  • Develop a daily rhythm that works

  • Make challenging decisions

And so much more. ALL with an experienced mom and homeschooler by your side.

You can move forward. You can relax. Because together, we will map out your road to a simple happy homeschool.

I offer sessions over the phone or through Zoom video conferencing. Your choice.

Our time together begins with a questionnaire to help us both understand your needs. And then we’ll tailor a mentorship plan just for you.

Hi there!

I'm Jean, mother of three (two boys and a girl), experienced homeschool educator, and homeschooling mentor. We started Waldorf homeschooling back in the 1990s - yup, awhile ago!

I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and have taught in public and private schools. I experimented with various educational methods and settings, but when I discovered Waldorf education -- that was it for me.

And when I brought it home to my own children, it was the most magical (and challenging) time of my life!

During the last 13 years, I've helped hundreds of parents find their way to thriving in Waldorf homeschooling. It has been such a joy.

In 2013, I founded Waldorf-Inspired Learning where I offer online courses, coaching, planning tools, an online support community, and in-person retreats for Waldorf homeschoolers.

I live in northeastern Ohio with my husband (all three kids are now in their 20s) where I love to hike, sing, read, and cook!

I feel incredibly honored to support so many families in homeschooling, parenting, and forging connections with our children.

Each session looks like this...

  • Questionnaire

One-on-one mentoring begins with a questionnaire about your homeschooling and family to prepare for our conversations.

  • Phone or Video Call

After you submit your questionnaire, we schedule our call(s) and get started with email support.

  • Email Follow-Up

After the session, I send a follow-up email with a summary of specific suggestions. This is included in the fee & my clients tell me how much they LOVE these emails.

A Single Session vs. a Package of 4...

Do you need help with a one-time question or issue?

If you have a smaller topic, let's meet for a Single Session.

Or, do you see yourself benefiting from regular support and guidance?

You may prefer a package of 4 Sessions to carry you through your homeschooling year.

What can I help you with?

  • Organizing and planning your main lesson blocks
  • Choosing resources
  • Understanding the basic principles of the Waldorf approach
  • How to work with rhythm in your family
  • Working with multiple ages
  • Understanding the principles of child development in relation to main lesson blocks
  • Homeschooling through high school, no matter what approach you use
  • Implementing the principles of Simplicity Parenting in your family life
  • Crafting a plan for inner work and self-care
  • Resource decluttering and simplification

I love these mamas...

"I tried two other consultants, and neither compared to Jean by any stretch. I am so happy I found her. She takes the time to help me develop specific action plans and shares resources and information tailored to my particular needs. I walk away from each call with a plethora of new ideas, confirmations and resources. She is encouraging, very knowledgeable and has an overall positive energy that I can feel through the phone. What a blessing to have found such a great person and resource that I can turn to during this crazy and beautiful journey called homeschooling! "
~Sarah, mother of two

"I found my way to Jean's work at just the right time. I am finally shedding some of my dogmatic thinking around Waldorf and realizing that the gifts I have as a homeschooling mother are really what my family needs and that I can embody the Waldorf ideals without worrying about how they compare to an actual Waldorf classroom. Jean's work is really affirming and freeing!"
~Monica, mother of two

"All of Jean's ideas/resources/general reassurance just made me feel so much better. I came away with both a practical, realistic plan for the rest of the school year, as well as a sense of confidence that I haven't had until now. Jean is really great at what she does, and I'm so thankful she is sharing her knowledge and experience."
~Leah, mother of three

"I found Jean when I was feeling stuck with planning, and losing too much sleep and quality time with my family. Consulting with Jean has been inspiring! She is thoughtfully prepared for each call which leaves me with the tools I need every time. By the end of our calls, I find myself refocused and enthusiastic about moving ahead - and looking forward to a sound night's sleep!"
~Mindy, mother of one
