You’ve decided to bring a holistic Waldorf-inspired approach to your homeschool. You’re a dedicated and loving parent - ready to grow, connect, and really show up for your family. (You inspire me!)
At the same time, I imagine you sometimes feel uncertain as to how to implement Waldorf at home...
And you probably feel overwhelmed from time to time - or maybe all the time!
In our March masterclass, we'll be exploring all of the ins and outs of making main lesson books. Why we make them, how to make them, and tips on how to decide whether to make a book or record the learning in other ways. Six Video Lessons and a Resource Guide.
It’s not just you. In the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with Waldorf homeschooling Moms, every one of them wonders, “Am I doing it right?” Or, “Am I doing enough?” Or even, “Am I capable of doing Waldorf at all?”
And to top it off, they feel a bit lonely, too.
Perhaps you’ve tried other approaches and they just fell flat. Or, you’ve pulled your child out of school and wonder, “Now what?”
Maybe you’ve even been struggling to bring Waldorf alive in your home for a few years.
You know what you want: to bring nature and the lively arts of music, movement, painting, and stories to your family.
You thought the answer was figuring out which curriculum to buy.
But now you’ve bought all the curriculum and resources, the art supplies and books. And they haven’t given you exactly what you need. They haven’t resolved your issues.
You may still have so many questions.
Hi, I'm Jean, mother of three (two boys and a girl), experienced homeschool educator, and homeschooling mentor. We started Waldorf homeschooling back in the 1990s - yup, awhile ago!
I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and have taught in public and private schools. I experimented with various educational methods and settings, but when I discovered Waldorf education -- that was it for me.
And when I brought it home to my own children, it was the most magical (and challenging) time of my life!
During the last 13 years, I've helped hundreds of parents find their way to thriving in Waldorf homeschooling. It has been such a joy.
In 2013, I founded Art of Homeschooling (previously Waldorf-Inspired Learning) where I offer online courses, coaching, planning tools, an online support community, and in-person retreats for Waldorf homeschoolers.
I live in northeastern Ohio with my husband (all three kids are now in their 20s & 30s) where I love to hike, sing, read, and cook!
I feel incredibly honored to support so many families in homeschooling, parenting, and forging connections with our children.
A mentorship community of like-minded homeschoolers
who are all on this path together!

“The live Coaching Calls are my favorite part. I know I am not the only one who left uplifted and significantly less anxious than before the call began. Jean is lovely, helpful, and gives you the confidence you need to do this.”~Jen, homeschooling mother of three
“Jean's Homeschool with Waldorf Masterclasses have been so encouraging! I have been homeschooling for 10 years and having this support is so amazing. I love how Jean emphasizes the advantages of homeschooling and building a strong connection with your kids. Her advice and encouragement are always spot on. I have been so excited each month to find out what the new topic is going to be; it is like a little gift to myself!”~Sarah, homeschooling mother of four
“Not being alone in this homeschooling endeavor is invaluable. Highly uplifting…and if you’re homeschooling, you need uplifting! I’ve been delightfully surprised at how much the community of other Waldorf homeschooling parents means to me. Jean’s teaching and wealth of knowledge paired with a dedicated virtual time and place to plan with others has been a real game changer for me in my homeschool year. There are so many different ways to connect through Jean’s community. And so many ways that Jean encourages you to steer your own ship. She’s like a little bit of Waldorf magic that always shows up at just the right moment. Highly, highly valuable. Thank you, Jean.”~Eshanne, homeschooling mother of two
“Homeschool with Waldorf helps me not feel so isolated. I have a few nuanced questions every week about lesson planning for which Jean's advice and that of the community has been invaluable. I have for a few years now felt like my homeschooling efforts are like when you hear someone striving to hit a note, but they're just not quite on it and you cringe hoping they'll just adjust to hit that note. Jean's Plan Alongs and Coaching Calls have been very helpful in moving toward hitting the note.”~Jay, homeschooling father of three
