Let me be your guide

I work with Waldorf homeschoolers who are tired of feeling uncertain and overwhelmed all the time! Moms who have high standards and want to bring the beautiful Waldorf approach to their children. But they just aren’t sure how to do it all. Or even if they’re doing it right.

Does any of this sound familiar?

It’s not just you. In the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with Waldorf homeschooling Moms, every one of them wonders, “Am I doing it right?” Or, “Am I doing enough?” Or even, “Am I capable of doing Waldorf at all?”

And to top it off, they feel a bit lonely, too.

Perhaps you’ve tried other approaches and they just fell flat. Or, you’ve pulled your child out of school and wonder, “Now what?”

Maybe you’ve even been struggling to bring Waldorf alive in your home for a few years.

You know what you want: to bring nature and the lively arts of music, movement, painting, and stories to your family.

You thought the answer was figuring out which curriculum to buy.

But now you’ve bought all the curriculum and resources, the art supplies and books. And they haven’t given you exactly what you need. They haven’t resolved your issues.

You still have so many questions.

Join the Homeschool with Waldorf Community

That’s exactly why I created Homeschool with Waldorf, a mentorship community of like-minded homeschoolers who are all on this path together.

I can help you apply the Waldorf theory to your own unique family. So that you can know that “yes, this is what I’m meant to be doing.”

Learn how to put into practice what is described in books.

With a monthly Masterclass, Plan Along session with other Waldorf homeschoolers, and a monthly Coaching Call with me, you’ll get the support you need to bring your children a beautiful homeschooling experience month after month.

Plus, a private Facebook group for questions and conversations with other homeschooling Moms on the Waldorf journey.

I help you toggle between planning meaningful activities for your children and doing the lessons. With lots of laughter and lots of honesty.

Here's what you'll get access to...

  • Masterclass

a pre-recorded training on one particular aspect of Waldorf homeschooling, including video lessons and an Action Guide.

Want more details?

Every month inside Homeschool with Waldorf, a new Masterclass is added to the online learning platform. The multimedia Masterclass includes video, slide presentations, and an accompanying Action Guide.

Each Masterclass focuses on just one aspect of the Waldorf approach so you can focus on one topic at a time each month and really make progress.

Some of the topics we’ll be exploring each month include:

  • Simplicity Holidays
  • Handwork + Stories
  • Reset Your Rhythm
  • Language Arts Through the Grades
  • Simplicity Parenting
  • How to Bring Nature Study to Your Children
  • Kindergarten at Home
  • Math Through the Grades

In addition to the Masterclass, I’ll be there to support you by hosting a Plan Along every month where you can actually get your planning done. And in the Live Coaching Calls, plus in the private Facebook community.

I love helping parents find ways of customizing the Waldorf approach to meet the specific needs of their children and family.

After all, that’s exactly what Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education had in mind when he said, “look at the children before you and bring them what they need.”

Testimonials

“The live Coaching Calls are my favorite part. I know I am not the only one who left uplifted and significantly less anxious than before the call began. Jean is lovely, helpful, and gives you the confidence you need to do this.”

“Jean's Homeschool with Waldorf Masterclasses have been so encouraging! I have been homeschooling for 10 years and having this support is so amazing. I love how Jean emphasizes the advantages of homeschooling and building a strong connection with your kids. Her advice and encouragement are always spot on. I have been so excited each month to find out what the new topic is going to be; it is like a little gift to myself!”

“Not being alone in this homeschooling endeavor is invaluable. Highly uplifting…and if you’re homeschooling, you need uplifting! I’ve been delightfully surprised at how much the community of other Waldorf homeschooling parents means to me. Jean’s teaching and wealth of knowledge paired with a dedicated virtual time and place to plan with others has been a real game changer for me in my homeschool year. There are so many different ways to connect through Jean’s community. And so many ways that Jean encourages you to steer your own ship. She’s like a little bit of Waldorf magic that always shows up at just the right moment. Highly, highly valuable. Thank you, Jean.”

“Homeschool with Waldorf helps me not feel so isolated. I have a few nuanced questions every week about lesson planning for which Jean's advice and that of the community has been invaluable. I have for a few years now felt like my homeschooling efforts are like when you hear someone striving to hit a note, but they're just not quite on it and you cringe hoping they'll just adjust to hit that note. Jean's Plan Alongs and Coaching Calls have been very helpful in moving toward hitting the note.”

She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and has taught in public and private schools, homeschooled her own children and led small groups.
