Discover Your Path to a Simple Happy Homeschool

You’ve decided to bring a holistic Waldorf-inspired approach to your homeschool. You’re a dedicated and loving parent - ready to grow, connect, and really show up for your family. (You inspire me!)

At the same time, I imagine you might sometimes feel uncertain as to how to implement Waldorf at home...

I know I sure did! I even felt overwhelmed from time to time - or maybe much of the time!

Being at Your Best as a Parent

Join me and a wonderful group of homeschoolers for three workshops (live + recordings) that will help you build your toolbox of being-your-best-self practices. So you can be at your best no matter what's going on around you. Coaching, classes, and community to support you on your journey.

Does Any of This Sound Familiar?

It’s not just you. In the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with Waldorf homeschooling Moms, every one of them wonders, “Am I doing it right?” Or, “Am I doing enough?” Or even, “Am I capable of doing Waldorf at all?”

And to top it off, they feel a bit lonely, too.

Perhaps you’ve tried other approaches and they just fell flat. Or, you’ve pulled your child out of school and wonder, “Now what?”

Maybe you’ve even been struggling to bring Waldorf alive in your home for a few years.

You know what you want: to bring nature and the lively arts of music, movement, painting, and stories to your family.

You thought the answer was figuring out which curriculum to buy.

But now you’ve bought all the curriculum and resources, the art supplies and books. And they haven’t given you exactly what you need. They haven’t resolved your issues.

You may still have so many questions.

Hey There, Homeschooler...

Hi, I'm Jean, mother of three (two boys and a girl), experienced homeschool educator, and homeschooling mentor. We started Waldorf homeschooling back in the 1990s - yup, awhile ago!

I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and have taught in public and private schools. I experimented with various educational methods and settings, but when I discovered Waldorf education -- that was it for me.

And when I brought it home to my own children, it was the most magical (and challenging) time of my life!

During the last 13 years, I've helped hundreds of parents find their way to thriving in Waldorf homeschooling. It has been such a joy.

In 2013, I founded Art of Homeschooling (previously Waldorf-Inspired Learning) where I offer online courses, coaching, planning tools, an online support community, and in-person retreats for Waldorf homeschoolers.

I live in northeastern Ohio with my husband (all three kids are now in their 20s & 30s) where I love to hike, sing, read, and cook!

I feel incredibly honored to support so many families in homeschooling, parenting, and forging connections with our children.

A mentorship community of like-minded homeschoolers
who are all on this path together!

Receive help applying the Waldorf theory to your own unique family. So that you can know that “yes, this is what I’m meant to be doing.”

Put into practice what is described in books.

With a monthly Masterclass and weekly group Coaching Calls with me, you’ll get the support you need to bring your children a beautiful homeschooling experience month after month.

Plus, a private Facebook group for questions and conversations with other homeschooling Moms on the Waldorf journey.

We help you toggle between planning meaningful activities for your children and doing the lessons. With lots of laughter and lots of honesty.

Because the magical missing piece is support for the doing

You can't buy this in a curriculum. I will support you on whatever you need help with right now. So you can let homeschooling be uncomplicated and easier to implement.

Walk hand-in with someone who's been there.

“The live Coaching Calls are my favorite part. I know I am not the only one who left uplifted and significantly less anxious than before the call began. Jean is lovely, helpful, and gives you the confidence you need to do this.”

“Jean's Homeschool with Waldorf Masterclasses have been so encouraging! I have been homeschooling for 10 years and having this support is so amazing. I love how Jean emphasizes the advantages of homeschooling and building a strong connection with your kids. Her advice and encouragement are always spot on. I have been so excited each month to find out what the new topic is going to be; it is like a little gift to myself!”

~Sarah, homeschooling mother of four~Sarah, homeschooling mother of four

“Not being alone in this homeschooling endeavor is invaluable. Highly uplifting…and if you’re homeschooling, you need uplifting! I’ve been delightfully surprised at how much the community of other Waldorf homeschooling parents means to me. Jean’s teaching and wealth of knowledge paired with a dedicated virtual time and place to plan with others has been a real game changer for me in my homeschool year. There are so many different ways to connect through Jean’s community. And so many ways that Jean encourages you to steer your own ship. She’s like a little bit of Waldorf magic that always shows up at just the right moment. Highly, highly valuable. Thank you, Jean.”

~Eshanne, homeschooling mother of two~Eshanne, homeschooling mother of two

“Homeschool with Waldorf helps me not feel so isolated. I have a few nuanced questions every week about lesson planning for which Jean's advice and that of the community has been invaluable. I have for a few years now felt like my homeschooling efforts are like when you hear someone striving to hit a note, but they're just not quite on it and you cringe hoping they'll just adjust to hit that note. Jean's Plan Alongs and Coaching Calls have been very helpful in moving toward hitting the note.”
