FAQs

Q: Can I sign up anytime?

A: Yes, you can sign up anytime and work through the lessons at your own pace, on your own schedule. You can also participate in future Live Run-Throughs in June, August, and January when I take everyone through the steps over the course of 3 weeks, with 2 steps per week.

Q: How long is the program?

A: That depends on how you want to use it! My suggestion is that you work through the lessons at your own pace (two per week works great) AND participate in the next Live Run-Through. You can also review lessons in future years because you will have Lifetime Access to the content and private Facebook Group. That means forever!

Q: What if I can't make it to the live sessions on Thursdays?

A: That's not a problem. You can submit questions ahead of time. And all of the sessions will be recorded so you can watch the recordings whenever it's convenient for you right here in the learning platform.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: I am confident that if you do the work in all six lessons, you’ll have a homeschooling plan that's just right for your family.  But, I certainly understand the fear of buying something that you can’t fully experience before purchase. So, I do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you complete the entire program, do all the work within 30 days, and still aren't satisfied, just show me your work -- and I will gladly refund your money.

Q: How much time should I set aside for this program?

A: To work through the six steps, if you do two lessons per week with action steps, you might need about 30 minutes to watch and read the material, and another 30 minutes to an hour to complete the action step for each lesson. That's 2-3 hours per week for the lessons over three weeks time. But of course, you can work through this program however you wish!

Q: How long do I have access to the program?

A: You have lifetime access to the curriculum and lifetime membership in the private Facebook Group.

Q: I've participated in Plan It Out before. Can I join in the coaching calls in future Live Run-Throughs?

A: Yes! You are invited to jump back into any Live Run-Through in the future. So in addition to lifetime access to the curriculum and private Facebook group, you can join in again as I walk everyone through the steps in June, August, and January. If you want to join a future Live Run-Through, just let me know and I can add you to the email list.

Join in anytime.
And the next Live Run-Through is in June 2018.

A planning opportunity worth taking!

by Theresa Willcox
The structure of this course is founded on years of experiential learning, for which there is no replacement. As a beginning homeschooler, I felt at ease with the process. It's hard to imagine how I would have pieced the school year together in such an organized fashion without Plan it Out. The pace of the course is steady and allows for real personal growth. I could not recomend a more complete approach to Waldorf homeschool planning. Jean is so enjoyable to work with- an honest wisdom with a clear passion for learning. Our homeschool plans are deeply enriched, what a blessing.

Simple and motivating

by Margo Burnham
This course is simple, short enough to get it all done, regularly scheduled enough to keep you moving and not stall out, easy to catch up if necessary, and in various learning modes which is very helpful. A great kick-start for sure!

The title fits the course well, though the course offers a lot more than just a plan.

This course breaks down the planning process into manageable chunks. Prior to the course I felt overwhelmed when I thought of bringing a Waldorf homeschooling day to my child. I also wondered if I could be prepared enough to bring this curriculum to life each day. I did not know where to begin. I love the framework steps, the curriculum information, lively arts explanations and the encouragement. Jean brings it together in a very relatable down-to-earth way. I feel confident in my capability to being this beautiful style of teaching to my child.

Much-needed offering for the Waldorf homeschooling community

by Amanda Evans
I feel that this course fills a need within the Waldorf homeschooling community for a neutral space (not associated with a specific curriculum provider) where people can share the experience of planning their own unique Waldorf year together. Jean brings a can-do spirit and a real knack for helping you find economy in your teaching. I enjoyed the connection built with fellow Waldorf home educators...the live calls bring an energy amongst the group that builds over the 3 weeks, and I think that is immensely helpful in keeping one motivated. Highly recommend!

Simple, but thorough course!

by Nicola Alesandrini
I appreciated Jean's gentle and encouraging approach in guiding us through the essential steps for planning a good homeschool year. She has a way of keeping things simple, while being thorough. The course is helpful to both new and seasoned homeschoolers, and the combination of pre-recorded videos, printable lists, live videos, and online discussion with Jean and other participants was so helpful!

Clear, helpful and supportive course

Plan It Out has been great at helping me focus and follow simple steps of planning without getting stuck - I am way ahead of where I thought I would be and have a clear plan of how to progress and be ready for my next year of homeschooling. Thank you Jean!

Thorough and Reassuring Guide Through the Waldorf Homeschool Planning Process

by Jen Baumgard
I am so thankful I had the opportunity to participate in this course. As a Mom of three preparing to embark on first grade, I leave this course with confidence and a year planned out. We not only created a big picture plan to guide our year, but also sculpted our weekly and daily rhythms. The Facebook group gave opportunity for fruitful daily discussions about the nitty-gritty of home life while schooling. The live calls were my favorite part. I know I am not the only one who left uplifted and significantly less anxious than before the call began. Jean is lovely, helpful, and gives you the confidence you need to do this. I highly recommend!
